Technical Profile

No matter the tool, art is art. Back in my music days, people would ask... "What brand of strings do you use on your guitar?". It doesn't really matter, if what you do is an expression of your soul, as opposed to a technically correct follow-the-rules composition. That said, I'm still a bit of a gear-head, and it's nice to know what creative possibilities exist with certain equipment. So here's my inventory:

Camera Bodies: Canon EOS 30D, Mamiya 645 1000-S, Pentax MZ-7.

Lenses: Canon 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM, Canon EFS 17-85mm USM, Canon EF 50mm 1:1.8, Sigma 10-20 4-5.6 EX, Mamiya 80mm, 45mm, Tamron 28-300, Vivitar 19-35mm.

Lighting: 4 infra-red triggered strobes, a bunch of umbrellas and stands.

Scanners: Minolta Dimage Scan Dual III film scanner, Microtek Scanmaker 5900 flatbed scanner.

Printers: Epson 1280, HP 7550 printer, Epson Photo R200.

Misc: Portable studio background system, Cokin & Singh Ray filters, Sekonic L-328 light meter, various tripods, monopods.

Preferred media: Sandisk, Fuji Provia F, Velvia, Astia, Reala.
