Western Canada is blessed with beautiful landscapes made up of the Rocky Mountains, abundant forests, streams, and rivers... you name it! Pretty well every imaginable opportunity for landscape photography.

In June of 2004 I spent a day shooting with a seasoned landscape photographer who showed me some of his choice locations along highway 40 in Alberta. This inspired me to spend more serious time capturing the beauty that was literally in my back yard (..well, an hour and a half drive). I found myself specifically drawn to water shots, the results of which you see here. Included also are some shots from British Columbia that I snuck in while on holidays.
